The Residential Nurse (RN, Graduate Nurse, LPN, Practical Nurse) is responsible for working with the Treatment Team and Director of Nursing in the delivery of nursing and medical care in a behavioral health program. The nursing functions include, but are not limited to, weekly assessments, medication administration, vitals, medical appointments, consultation with physical health physicians and the psychiatrist for the overall medical care for these individuals who often times experience complex medical needs. The program serves adults, who may be dually diagnosed with mental health and intellectual developmentally disabled diagnoses, in a trauma informed care environment.
