The Community Stabilization and Reintegration Unit is a residential program that treats individuals 18 years or older. The goal is to increase independence in personal skills, home skills, community skills, and social skills, while managing challenging behaviors that result from co-occurring intellectual developmental disabilities and mental health conditions.

Beacon Light operates its CSRU program in McClure, PA

Tasks:

  • Responsible for the management of an assigned caseload of clientele for individual, family and group therapy.
  • The goal is to increase independence in personal skills, home skills, community skills, and social skills, while managing challenging behaviors that result from co-occurring intellectual developmental disabilities and mental health conditions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's Degree in a Human Service-related field.
  • Prior experience and licensure/certifications preferred.

Work Schedule:

Full time, Monday-Friday, Possible schedule flexibility based on caseload.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This position gives preference to individuals with an active driver's license and a DMV check that is clear. Position may require travel in the local community or to assist with individuals attending required visits.

About Us

The phrase Beacon Light actually refers to two distinct companies:
Beacon Light Behavioral Health System (BLBHS) and Beacon Light Adult Residential Services (BLARS).

Together they provide mental health services to adults, children and families in both community-based and residential settings. Individually, BLARS primarily provides residential programs for adults, while BLBHS provides community-based and residential programs for children, as well as community-based programs for adults.
